TOWNSHIP FISCAL OFFICER
Brunswick Hills Township is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Township Fiscal Officer.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of government accounting practices, experience with budget management, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, overseeing payroll, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Preparing and managing the township budget
- Overseeing financial record-keeping and reporting
- Processing payroll and accounts payable
- Monitoring revenue collection and compliance
- Working with the township board of trustees on financial matters
- Analyzing financial data and preparing reports
- Ensuring adherence to state and local financial regulations
The ideal candidate will be 18 years of age or older, be a resident of Brunswick Hills Township and a registered voter. Additional qualifications we will heavily consider include:

- A degree in finance or substantial proven work history in that field.
- Strong computer skills, especially with accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Brunswick Hills Township has open alternate positions (annual commitment) on the Board of Zoning Appeals. The BZA meets monthly on the first Wednesday of every month. ANNUAL TRASH OPT-OUT
The Township Board of Trustees is currently accepting bids for Trash Service Collection, effective April 1, 2025. Residents who opted out for 2024 were automatically opted out for the first three months of 2025. The successful bidder will be announced at the February 25, 2025 Regular Trustees Meeting. Opt-Out Forms for 2025 will be accepted at the Township Administrative Office beginning February 26, 2025.
The ANNUAL opt-out opportunity for trash service for 2025 will end on March 14, 2025.

Want to be informed when trash service will be delayed or suspended due to weather or other issues?
Republic Waste has worked with Brunswick Hills Township to provide the following process to obtain contact information from any resident that would like to provide it. Please call Republic Waste at 440-458-5191 and let the agent know you would like to be notified of any service interruptions. Provide your name, address and phone number, and the procedure will be complete. Republic Waste will then be able to notify you by phone of any service delays.
