A message from ODOT regarding the intersection of SR 303 and Substation Rd.:
We are aware of the community concerns and started looking at this intersection last year. We are waiting for survey data to be completed so we can determine right-of-way impacts for any proposed improvements. We need this information in order to get an accurate cost estimate for any potential improvements so we can then apply for funding. As I am sure you are aware, there is an electrical substation in the southeast corner, a house in the southwest and northwest corners and an apartment building on the northeast corner that sits very close to SR 303. We need to try and avoid right-of-way impacts as much as possible if we propose any road widening at this intersection but we first need to know exactly where the current right-of-way limits are at.
